The 14 November, 2016 Kaikoura earthquake saw devastation across the region. Many wineries were affected with sever damage to stainless steel wine storage tanks. In contrast, no damage was inflicted on any Flextank storage tanks. As a result, many wineries are seeking more inexpensive alternatives to traditional stainless steel. This in turn has led many wineries to purchase water tanks.
An exciting new addition to our range of wine storage and milk cooling products is the ability to produce insulated tanks. Aquatanks, our manufacturing partner, have developed the process which produces a double skinned tank with an HDPE insulation layer between the skins. Our smooth wall tank moulds are ideal for this process as the insulation can easily distribute evenly over the whole surface.
Available tank sizes are:
300L, 750L, 1100L, 2700L, 5500L and 10,000L Squat.
